Negotiable priceFrequently Asked Questions - Flooring Work
Parquet is 100% natural wood, which is eco-friendly, retains heat, and can be refurbished (sanded/refinished) multiple times. Laminate is a synthetic, pressed material, but it is much more budget-friendly, more scratch-resistant, and installs very quickly.
Sanding is the process of scraping the top layer of an old wooden floor or parquet using a special machine, which removes scratches, stains, and old varnish. After the procedure, the floor is recoated with oil or varnish, giving it a brand-new look.
Surface drying occurs within 2โ3 days, making it safe to walk on, but laying laminate or parquet on it is recommended only after at least 3โ4 weeks. Residual moisture inside the screed can completely damage and mold wooden flooring later on.
